Tesla CEO Elon Musk lost his title as the richest person in the world, after a bloody session for Wall Street, during which six American companies lost more than $ 275 billion of market value.
Not only did Musk lose his title, but he fell to third place all at once, behind Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos and CEO of the world's largest fashion company (Louis Vuitton) Bernard Arnault.
While Bezos and Arnault each lost $3.2 billion and $2.2 billion, respectively, Musk's losses were much larger, at $5.3 billion.
