Central Qatar's Foreign Exchange Reserves Rise 3.88 Percent

The Central Bank of June Qatar's international reserves and foreign currency liquidity increased by 3.88 percent in June to250.091 billion riyals ($ 68.67 billion), compared to 240.742 billion riyals ($ 66 billion) in the same month of 2023.

Data issued by the Central Bank of Qatar showed an increase in its official reserves by the end of last June, compared to the end of the same month of 2023, by about 8.704 billion riyals ($ 2.3 billion), to reach 191.110 billion riyals ($ 52.5 billion), as a result of the increase in the Central Bank's balances of bonds and foreign treasury bills by about 4.386 billion riyals ($ 1.2 billion), to the level of 139.068 billion riyals ($ 38.2 billion) in June 2024.
