World Bank Maintains UAE Economic Growth Forecast at 4.6%

In its June 2025 Global Economic Prospects report, the World Bank maintained its forecast for UAE economic growth at 4.6% this year, 2025, the highest in the Gulf, rising to 4.9% in 2026.

In a report on the Middle East and North Africa region, titled "How the Private Sector Can Boost Growth in the Middle East and North Africa," released in April on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings in Washington, the bank predicted UAE economic growth of 4.6% in 2025, the highest in the Gulf, and 4.9% in 2026.

According to the report, the bank expected growth in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to rise to 3.2% in 2025, 4.5% in 2026, and 4.8% in 2027.
