Khalifa Al Thani: 9.2 Billion Riyals Trade Exchange with France

Qatar Chamber participated in the meetings of the Executive Bureau and the Board of Directors of the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce held in Paris, France. The Chairman of Qatar Chamber, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani, headed the Chamber's delegation participating in the meetings, which included Dr. Khalid bin Kleifikh Al-Hajri, a member of the Board of Directors.

The agenda of the Board meeting dealt with the ratification of the minutes of the previous meeting, the adoption of the estimated budget of the Chamber for the year 2025, the results of the meetings of the Chamber's bodies, in addition to the Fifth Economic Summit of France and the Arab countries. While the meeting of the Executive Bureau dealt with the ratification of the minutes of the meeting of the previous Bureau meeting, the review of the schedule of meetings of the Chamber's bodies, and the review of several other topics.

HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani praised the advanced trade relations between the Arab countries and the Republic of France, pointing to the importance of these meetings between the member chambers in order to develop these relations to wider horizons.

He pointed to the developed cooperation relations between Qatar and France, noting that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries last year amounted to 9.2 billion riyals, which makes France an important trade partner for the State of Qatar. He stressed Qatar Chamber's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations between the business sectors in Qatar and France, emphasizing the aspiration of Qatari investors to see the investment opportunities available in France in all sectors, as well as to encourage French companies to increase their investments in Qatar.
