Qatar has secured 9th place globally in the 2025 Global Competitiveness Report issued by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), marking its first-ever entry into the top 10 list of the world’s most competitive economies.
This achievement reflects Qatar’s strong standing in economic and administrative performance indicators, and highlights the effectiveness of its long-term policies aimed at implementing the Third National Development Strategy and fulfilling the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Global Competitiveness Report evaluates the performance of 67 economies worldwide using over 330 indicators across four main pillars: economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency, and infrastructure.
