International reserves and foreign currency liquidity at the Qatar Central Bank increased in December 2024 by 3.69 percent to reach 255.003 billion riyals (about 70 billion dollars), compared to 245.928 billion riyals in the same month of 2023.
In new data, the Qatar Central Bank revealed that its official reserves increased by the end of last December, compared to what they were at the end of the same month of 2023, by about 8.907 billion riyals, to reach 195.976 billion riyals (about 53.7 billion dollars), despite the decline in the Central Bank's balances of bonds and foreign treasury bills by about 6.562 billion riyals, to the level of 127.092 billion riyals in December 2024.
