252.26 Billion Riyals Qatar's International Reserves

International reserves and foreign currency liquidity at the Qatar Central Bank at the end of August recorded 252.26 billion riyals, compared to 242.67 billion riyals in August 2023, with an annual growth of 4 percent.

The value of reserves increased by about 0.51 percent, or 1.28 billion riyals, from its level of 250.98 billion riyals in July 2024. Since the beginning of this year, international reserves and liquidity have risen 2.57 percent to an estimated 6.33 billion riyals, compared to 245.93 billion riyals at the end of last yearThe reserve received annual support from 3 items, led by the gold reserve of 31.86 billion riyals last month, up 45.2 percent from its August 2023 level of 21.94 billion riyals, with a growth of 3.85 percent on a monthly basis.
