Moroccan airports set a new record in the first six months of this year, receiving 15,104,579 passengers, an increase of 19 percent, compared to the same period last year.
According to the National Office of Airports, domestic air traffic reached 1,531,191 passengers received during the first half of this year, an improvement of 22 percent, compared to the same period in 2023. International air traffic increased by 19 percent with 13,573,388 passengers, while 111,783 aircraft movements were recorded by the end of June, an increase of 15 percent compared to the same period last year.
Regarding air freight, it recorded an increase of 24 percent to 46,209 tons during the first half of this year.
