The number of hotel nights in Morocco increased during the first two months of 2025 to 4.2 million, a 16 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
According to data from the Moroccan Tourism Observatory, the increase in the number of overnight stays recorded in classified tourist accommodation establishments was supported by a 6 percent increase in domestic tourism and a 20 percent increase in international tourism.
Foreign currency travel revenues from international tourism reached 15.76 billion dirhams during the first two months of 2025, a 3 percent increase. The number of tourists arriving through border crossings also increased by 24 percent by the end of February, reaching 2.66 million people.
