The Moroccan Ministry of Tourism revealed that the number of foreign tourists who visited the country between January and April 2025 reached about 5.7 million. According to the ministry, this figure represents an increase of 23 percent compared to the first 4 months of 2024.
Morocco recorded an additional one million tourists during this period, and these results naturally place the country among the most dynamic tourist destinations in the world, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
Tourism is the second source of foreign exchange in Morocco in 2024, after remittances from Moroccan expatriates abroad. In 2024, Morocco succeeded in attracting 17.4 million tourists, an increase of 20 percent compared to 2023, making the Kingdom the top tourist destination in Africa last year.
