The IMF expects global growth to hit 3.1 percent in 2029, the lowest level recorded in decades in forecasts for the next five years.

The IMF revealed that global public debt levels will exceed 100 percent of global GDP during the same period. While inflation will decline steadily towards the target, which may lead to a calm in economic activity and the divergence between growth and inflation, which raises doubts and risks.

He noted the need for central banks to balance the speed of implementation of monetary easing or postponement. Global central banks are facing a difficult balancing act as interest rates begin to be cut amid falling inflation.
