Jordan: Trade Balance Deficit Exceeds $ 6.26 Billion

The trade balance deficit in Jordan reached 4.439 billion Jordanian dinars (6.26 billion US dollars) by the end of June 2024, compared to 4.444 billion Jordanian dinars (6.27 billion dollars) in the corresponding period of 2023.

According to the monthly report of the Department of Statistics on Jordanian foreign trade, the value of total exports during the first half of 2024 amounted to 4.444 billion Jordanian dinars (6.26 billion US dollars), of which national exports were 4.018 billion Jordanian dinars (5.66 billion dollars), and re-exports 426 million Jordanian dinars (596 million US dollars). The value of imports amounted to 8.883 billion Jordanian dinars (12.525 billion dollars), during the same period.
