Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan received 1.081 million passengers last August, marking an increase of 12.2 percent compared to the same period in 2024. According to Airport International Group, this represents the highest number of passengers in the airport’s history for a single month.
During the same period, the airport also recorded 8,380 aircraft movements, up 11.5 percent compared to August 2024. Meanwhile, air cargo traffic reached 6,683 tons, reflecting a slight decline of 0.1 percent.
Between January and August 2025, the airport welcomed 6.46 million passengers, a 6.6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
