A Quarter of a Trillion Dirhams Expected Tourist Spending in the UAE 2024

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has estimated that the total tourism spending in the UAE, whether from international or domestic tourists, will reach nearly a quarter of a trillion dirhams during the current year 2024, confirming the strong attractiveness of the UAE as a global tourist destination.

According to the report, the expected tourism spending of international and domestic visitors in the UAE will increase by 8.2 percent, reaching AED 249.8 billion, compared to AED 230.8 billion in the previous year.

The UAE occupies a vital position on the world stage as one of the most prominent tourist destinations, attracting millions annually from around the world.
