Issue No. 32 of the Arab Economic Report while the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Arab Countries celebrates its sixtieth anniversary, which took place in 1951. It also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the first issue of this book in 1961, which over the course of five decades has been a basic reference for developments and economic conditions in the Arab countries.

This book includes economic developments in each of the Arab countries during the years 2009-2011. It also includes an assessment of the economic conditions and prospects for the countries that witnessed and witness the processes of change and transformation.
