The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Omar Al Ali, accompanied by the Federation’s Director General Amer Al Homsai, is visiting Germany for several days, in response to an invitation from the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Al Ali explained that the visit program includes a series of meetings and activities, including a meeting with business leaders and members of the Syrian community, in addition to meetings with the President and Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its members.
He noted that the visit comes as part of the Federation’s efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between Syria and Germany, review German experiences across various commercial and industrial sectors, and explore prospects for joint cooperation and the revitalization of trade relations in ways that open the door to new investment opportunities. Al Ali added that this step extends previous meetings and activities organized by the Federation in Damascus, most recently the Syrian–German–Austrian Forum, which saw wide participation from businesspeople and investors.
