$454.29 Billion Saudi Arabia's Reserve Assets

Saudi Arabia's official reserve assets rose by the end of March after falling for 3 consecutive months, hitting a 6-month high, but declining slightly year-on-year.

The value of the kingdom's official reserve assets rose 4.9 percent by the end of March compared to the previous month, increasing by 79.88 billion riyals ($ 21.3 billion) from the size of assets at the end of February, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

The Kingdom's total official reserve assets (foreign currency reserves, cash gold and IMF Special Drawing Rights) stood at 1.703 trillion riyals ($454.29 billion) by the end of March, the highest level in 6 months since it reached 1.713 trillion riyals ($456.97 billion) in September 2024.
