Tourism Revenues Increase in Tunisia in the First Quarter Of 2025

Revenues from Tunisia's tourism sector increased by 5% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2024.

Revenues amounted to more than $390 million, compared to $371 million in the same period in 2024, according to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia. Tunisia attracted more than 10 million tourists in 2024, a record never seen before.

Tunisian Tourism Minister Sofiane Taqia revealed that the goal in 2025 is to exceed the threshold of 11 million tourists with the launch of a wide promotional campaign directed to European markets and attract more tourists through new markets such as China, Spain and the Czech Republic.
