The Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) revealed that Arab GDP is expected to grow by 1.8%, exceeding $3.5 trillion in 2024, despite the challenges and events witnessed in the region. This growth is expected to continue geographically concentrated in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Iraq, and Algeria, representing more than 72% of the region's total.

The corporation noted that overall expectations for Arab economic performance are positive for 2025, with an expected growth rate of 4.1%, driven by likely growth in 14 Arab countries, including nine oil-producing economies that alone contribute more than 78% of Arab GDP. This is amid cautious optimism about the easing of unrest and conflicts in the region, and the improvement of revenues from exports of oil, gas, goods, and services produced by the region.
