Total banking sector assets in Qatar decreased by 0.3 percent month-on-month (up 3.9 percent in 2024) to QR2.040 trillion in January 2025.
Total loans in Qatar's banking sector increased by 1.9 percent month-on-month (up 4.6 percent in 2024). Deposits increased by 1.3 percent month-on-month (up 4.1 percent in 2024) during January 2025.
Total loans grew by 1.9 percent in January 2025, mainly driven by increased loans in the public sector.
