Morocco's External Debt Ceiling Reaches $6 Billion

Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fattah Alaoui explained that "the government expects the economy to grow by 4.6 percent in 2025," noting that these expectations exceed the International Monetary Fund's estimate of 3.9 percent.

Alaoui pointed out that Morocco's external debt ceiling is $ 6 billion, revealing that two-thirds of this amount has been obtained. She pointed out that all economic sectors in Morocco witnessed remarkable growth during 2024, including tourism, industry, services, and phosphate.

She explained that foreign direct investment to Morocco witnessed a rise of 25% to reach about $ 4.8 billion in 2024.
