Samir Majoul at the Arab-French Economic Summit in Paris: Towards Partnerships Based On Balance, Trust and Mutual Benefits, Going beyond Economic Deals to a Common Vision To Achieve Sustainable and Comprehensive Development

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, and President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts, His Excellency Mr. Samir Majoul, stressed at the opening of the Fifth Arab-French Economic Summit held in the French capital, Paris, under the patronage of His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, and in the presence of the heads and members of the boards of directors of chambers and federations of Arab chambers, representatives of Arab and French economic and financial institutions and businessmen from both sides, in addition to the presence of Arab and French official figures, the importance of strengthening relations between France and the Arab world, stressing Historical, cultural and economic ties between the two parties. Majul noted in his speech that "the Arab-French summit shows the depth of ties that go beyond trade relations to cultural and strategic between France and Arab countries," adding that "holding the summit under the auspices of French President Emmanuel Macron, reflects great interest in the relationship with the Arab world, which is a major player in the global economy thanks to its strategic resources and ambitious youth."

President Samir Majoul stressed, "There are great opportunities through the current development plans in the Arab countries such as infrastructure modernization, renewable energy transition, and economic diversification, and France, thanks to its technological excellence and diverse expertise in areas such as renewable energy, health, education, and technology, is an ideal partner to achieve these ambitions."

He pointed out that "partnerships must be based on the principle of balance, trust, and mutual benefits, going beyond economic deals to a common vision to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development," noting that "the Union of Arab Chambers is keen to build bridges, promote initiatives, facilitate joint investments, and provide a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas.

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, Samir Majoul, called for "the importance of establishing a relationship based on balance and trust for a sustainable future and strategic partnerships that ensure the interest of the parties and exploit the integration between the two parties to build a common future focused on prosperity and inclusion."
