Figures released by the Government Statistics Center showed that the number of passengers traveling through the country's various airports from the beginning of January until the end of October rose to more than 12.1 million, with an annual growth of 4.1 percent.
The number of passengers travelling through Muscat International Airport by the end of October reached more than 10.7 million, a growth of 3.7 percent year-on-year with more than 80,600 flights, an increase of about 2.3 percent from a year ago. While statistics showed that, the number of passengers through Salalah Airport by the end of last October reached 1.3 million, an increase of 6.4 percent year-on-year, through more than nine thousand flights, a decrease of 1.6 percent with an annual comparison.
