Iraq Accounts For 27% of Turkish Exports to Arab Countries

Iraq accounted for about a quarter of Turkish exports to Arab countries during the first ten months of 2024, as Iraq topped the list of the most importing countries from Turkey, by $ 10.76 billion of Turkey's total exports to Arab countries, which amounted to about $ 39.9 billion, by about 27% between January and October 2024.

The UAE came second at the Arab level with $6.84 billion, followed by Egypt with $3.4 billion, Saudi Arabia with $3.26 billion, and Morocco with about $2.8 billion.

According to the Turkish General Trade System, "GTS," exports to Arab countries grew 7.7% in the ten months of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year. The value of Turkey's total exports reached 216 billion and 383 million dollars in ten months, and exports to Arab countries accounted for 18.4% of them.
