Lebanese Economy Minister Amin Salam revealed that Lebanon's losses due to the war are estimated at between $ 15 and $ 20 billion.

He added that the infrastructure was destroyed and the country lost more than 500,000 jobs. He added that as long as the machine of destruction expands, the losses increase daily by hundreds of millions of dollars.

The United Nations has warned that the conflict in Lebanon could exacerbate the country's economy, which has been battered by years of crisis. If fighting continues, it predicted a 9.2 percent decline in GDP in 2024.

The military escalation will further delay economic and fiscal reforms and the chances of a long-term recovery of fiscal and external accounts.
