Bitcoin surpassed the $93,000 mark for the first time as it showed no signs of its continued rally abating on expectations that Donald Trump as president of the United States and his administration would be a boon for cryptocurrencies.

The world's largest cryptocurrency has become one of the most moving currencies of the week since the election. The cryptocurrency reached $92,984.53. It briefly rose to a new record high of $93,469.08.

With its repeated rises, Bitcoin's market capitalization now stands at $1.850 trillion, becoming the eighth largest asset in the world. It has achieved a rise of 7.26 percent in the last 24 hours.
