The Volume of Liquidity in the Saudi Economy Reaches 2.9 Trillion Riyals

The levels of liquidity in the Saudi economy system recorded an annual growth of 8.7%, an increase of 232,160 billion riyals, to reach the level of 2,906,636 million riyals, by the end of August 2024, reaching a new peak that is the highest, compared to the same period of 2023, which amounted to 2,674,476 million riyals.

Liquidity also grew by 1.3% month-on-month, an increase of 36,848 billion riyals, compared to the end of July of the same year, amounting to 2,869,788 million riyals, according to data from the monthly statistical bulletin of the Saudi Central Bank for August 2024.

It achieved a growth of 6.8% since the beginning of the year, an increase of 185,678 billion riyals, from 2,720,957 million riyals at the end of January 2024.
