The Moroccan Ministry of Tourism revealed that tourism revenues increased by 7% during the first eight months of this year, recording a value of 76.4 billion dirhams ($ 7.64 billion). Tourism Minister Fatima Zahra Amour said the figures "confirm the great momentum witnessed by the tourism sector".

"The country achieved a record in revenue thanks to an exceptional influx of tourists, reaching 11.8 million tourists between January and August," she said. The minister highlighted her country's aspiration to "continue success by diversifying and improving tourism experiences, enhancing the visitor experience and extending their stay."

Tourism continues to develop continuously, especially after revenues from the sector were destroyed for the first time by $ 10 billion in 2023, after receiving 14.5 million tourists.
