AED 45 Billion Worth of Renewable Energy Projects In the UAE

The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Eng. Suhail Al Mazrouei stressed that the UAE has made remarkable progress in increasing the contribution of clean energy production to the total energy mix, reaching 27.83 percent in 2023, within the target by 2030 of 32 percent.

Al Mazrouei explained that from 2019 to 2022, the UAE succeeded in doubling its renewable energy capacity, as part of the path of achieving the objectives of the UAE Energy Strategy to add installed capacity 3 times by 2030, towards our commitment to achieve the goals of the energy transition in accordance with the UAE's historic agreement in COPE28.
