Data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) showed that global air cargo markets for June 2024 revealed continued strong annual growth in demand. This contributed to exceptional performance in the first half of the year for air cargo, with volumes exceeding 2023 and 2022, and even record levels in 2021.

Middle Eastern airlines saw air cargo demand grow 13.8 percent year-on-year in June. The Middle East and Europe market performed particularly well with annual growth of 30.2 percent, ahead of the Middle East and Asia markets, which grew by 15.1 percent year-on-year.
