Saudi Arabia Leads the Middle East in E-Commerce Sales

E-commerce solutions company, “Applo”, revealed that traditional stores lost 10 percent of their total sales, while sales through electronic platforms increased during the first half of this year.

According to the company, the e-commerce sector is growing faster and better than traditional stores. The growth in the volume of e-commerce in the Arab region reached 7 percent year-on-year to $15 billion in the first half of this year, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia topped the countries of the region in terms of e-commerce sales.
