Russian Revenues Rose 38 Percent in the First Half of 2024

The Russian Ministry of Finance revealed that budget revenues increased by 38 percent between January and June 2024.

Budget revenues amounted to 17 billion rubles (about $192 million), marking an increase of 38 percent, compared to the same period last year. Russia's revenues from non-oil products grew 26.6 percent in the first half of this year to 11.3 billion rubles ($128 million). Oil and natural gas revenues amounted to 5.7 billion rubles ($65 million), up 68.5 percent.

Accordingly, Russia's budget deficit relative to GDP fell by 0.9 percent, to 0.5 percent.
