Alphabet shares rose 2.7 percent, after a report said that technology giant Apple is in talks to license Google's artificial intelligence tool called Gemini for future iPhones. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is in talks with Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet, to allow the iPhone manufacturer to license and build the Gemini artificial intelligence engine in the smartphone.
Bloomberg revealed active negotiations between the two technology giants to operate some new features scheduled to be released for the iPhone later this year.
