Inflation in Kuwait Rises To 3.37% in December

Government data showed that Kuwait's consumer price index rose 3.37 percent in December year-on-year.

The data showed the consumer price index rose 0.30 percent in December on a monthly basis.

According to a statement by the Central Bureau of Statistics, the inflation rate in Kuwait during the past month recorded 131.9 points, compared to 127.6 points in December 2022. On a monthly basis, the inflation rate in the State of Kuwait increased by 0.30 percent, the price of the health group increased by 0.92 percent, followed by an increase in the price of the restaurants and hotels group by 0.91 percent, and the stability of the price of the telecommunications group.
