The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, called on Qatari businessmen to invest in his country and take advantage of the investment opportunities offered by Cuba.
This came during a meeting at the Fairmont Doha Hotel with a delegation of Qatar Chamber headed by Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani.
For his part, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim expressed his pleasure with the visit of His Excellency the Cuban President to Qatar and the accompanying delegation, and expressed his happiness with the distinguished relations between the two countries, noting that the volume of trade between them does not live up to the ambitions and aspirations. The President of the Chamber stressed that there are aspirations to enhance cooperation between the two sides and between the chambers of commerce in both countries, which contributes to promoting trade, noting that there are many areas of cooperation between businessmen from the two countries in agriculture, energy, tourism, industry and others.
