A "World Bank" report showed that the countries that came at the top of the world in food inflation are located in Africa, North and Latin America, South Asia, Europe, and Central Asia. According to the World Bank, Egypt came at the top of the list of countries most affected by food inflation with 36 percent, and in second place Lebanon with 31 percent.
Rwanda ranked third with 15 percent, Turkey fourth with 14 percent, Argentina in fifth place with 12 percent, Sierra Leone in sixth place with 12 percent, Ghana in seventh place with 11 percent, Suriname in eighth place with the same percentage, Bahrain in ninth place with 9 percent, and the Netherlands in tenth place with the same percentage.
