“Forward Keys” ranked the UAE among the top 10 tourist destinations in the world, which saw the strongest growth in international visitors this year compared to 2019.
The UAE ranked eighth on the list, with the number of tourist arrivals this year down only slightly by 7 percent from pre-COVID levels, thanks to an influx of tourists from the United States and Russia as well as strong air connectivity that has particularly helped attract more Chinese travelers to the country.
Saudi Arabia ranked fifth in the global ranking of international arrivals in 2023, returning to pre-COVID levels for inbound visitors, supported by pilgrims and Umrah performers.
