Bloomberg revealed that Apple is on track to spend a billion dollars annually on developing generative artificial intelligence products, seeking to catch up with competitors who preceded it and have already launched new products and features for artificial intelligence technologies, such as "Google", "Microsoft" and "Amazon".
The iPhone maker currently uses AI techniques to a limited extent in some of her work, such as image enhancement and automatic text correction. However, it has not yet launched a generative product similar to OpenAI's, ChatGBT, or Google's Bard.
Apple has so far built a large language model of its own, called Ajax, as well as the Apple GPT chatbot, but neither has been integrated into its business so far.
