“Meta Platforms” is developing a new AI system that aims to be as powerful as the more advanced model offered by OpenAI, a nonprofit AI research organization.
“Facebook's” parent company aims for the new AI model to be ready next year, as it will be several times more powerful than its commercial version dubbed “Lama 2.”
“Lama 2” is a major language model for artificial intelligence under the open-source system launched by Meta last July.
