Commercial air traffic recorded a new historic record after the world's skies witnessed 134386 commercial flights on July 6, 2023. Friday 7 July also saw huge air traffic, with more than 20,000 flights recorded, according to Flight Radar 24.
The total number of flights recorded on July 6 was 250831 total flights, including 10,000 private jet flights. The total number, excluding commercial flights, included helicopters, military activity, and other business aircraft activities that are not considered "commercial aircraft."
