Bahrain attracted more than a billion dollars in direct capital to its market during the first five months of this year, recent data showed, in a jump that shows the government could achieve its goals in this area by the end of 2023. The CEO of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Khalid Humaidan, stressed during a meeting on the achievements of the Council that "Bahrain has succeeded in attracting direct investments worth $ 1.1 billion until this June," considering that "this achievement represents a positive indicator towards achieving the objectives of the economic recovery plan to attract investments worth more than $ 2.5 billion by 2023."
Bahrain was able to attract about $ 1.1 billion in foreign direct investment during the whole of 2022.
