The "Regional Network for Social Responsibility" awarded the Union of Arab Chambers the "Trusted Community Partner Award for the Regional Network for Social Responsibility for the year 2022", along with other prestigious Arab and international institutions and personalities with qualitative contributions in the field of professional community partnership.
This took place during the "Eleventh Regional CSR Network Partners Forum 2023" activities, which were held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, commented on the Union's award of this prestigious award, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the "Regional Network for Social Responsibility", for granting the Union of Arab Chambers "the Trusted Community Partner Award for the Regional Network for Social Responsibility for the year 2022". Considering that the "Regional Network for Social Responsibility" is one of the important and prominent institutions in the Arab world working to raise awareness about corporate and institutional social responsibility, and work to promote it in companies, institutions, and Governmental and private sectors.
Dr. Khaled Hanafi noted that "granting the Union of Arab Chambers this prestigious award is a cause of pride, as the Union has always paid prominent and exceptional attention to the subject of social responsibility, which contributes to the development of our Arab societies and institutions."
Hanafi pointed out that "believing in the role of the Union of Arab Chambers in supporting the sustainable social responsibility initiative, the Union always calls and urges local chambers and companies in the Arab world to adopt the initiative and develop the spirit of sustainable social responsibility in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and motivate companies by launching the award for the most socially responsible companies in the Arab world in various sectors and in cooperation with internationally accredited certificates."
"We express our honor and pride in the close cooperation that exists between the Union of Arab Chambers and the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, which aims primarily to serve our Arab people," he said.
Secretary-General Khaled Hanafi stressed, "We always look forward to more cooperation and effective coordination in the next stage, in order to achieve our lofty goals in terms of community development."
