Abdullah Al Mazrui Discusses Prospects of Economic Cooperation with Algeria

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrui, met the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to the UAE Khamisi Arif, and the accompanying diplomatic delegation, in the presence of the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Mohamed Hilal Al Muhairi. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and trade exchange between the business sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its counterpart in Algeria, and explore prospects for their development in a way that contributes to promoting areas of joint investment.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mazrui welcomed the new Algerian ambassador, wishing him success in performing his duties, in a way that strengthens the close cooperation relations between the UAE and the sisterly Republic of Algeria. Al Mazrui briefed Ambassador Arif about the services of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and what it provides to its members, as well as innovative initiatives to support areas of economic work. Pointing out that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is a fertile environment for business creation and growth, and constitutes a developed investment environment for investors, which makes it a great incentive for Algerian investments aimed at achieving economic diversification and diversifying the export markets available to its products towards Asian markets. For his part, Algerian Ambassador Khamisi Arif expressed his happiness at representing his country in the UAE, pointing to the prestigious position occupied by the UAE at the regional and global levels, stressing the importance of continuing practical efforts to strengthen relations of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields.
