Abdullah Al Mazrui meets with the President of Zambia: Laying Solid Foundations for Strengthening Economic Relations

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, the President of the Federation of UAE Chambers, the President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Muhammad Al Mazrouei, met the President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakindi Hechilema, at the Chamber’s Tower headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Rashid Mikati, and the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi.

On the sidelines of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aimed at laying solid foundations that enhance the strength of bilateral economic relations on both sides.

President Hakindi Hechilema stressed that "the relations between the UAE and Zambia are solid and are moving forward." Expressing his keenness and interest in making a lot of effort to enhance economic cooperation between the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Zambia, pointing out that there are many potentials and opportunities to support and enhance business in various areas of common interest.

In turn, President Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouei welcomed the Zambian President, thanking his visit to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, stressing that this visit is a positive and important indicator that will contribute to strengthening trade relations between Abu Dhabi and Zambia and will open channels of communication that increase the volume of trade exchange between the two sides. Pointing out the readiness to provide all necessary means of support and provide all forms of assistance to ensure the continued prosperity of relations, thus contributing to the recovery of business opportunities between investors in Abu Dhabi and their counterparts in Zambia.
