The Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdullah Nass, discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Sudan H.E Abdulla Rabea, and the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain H.E Shazryll Zahiran, ways of economic cooperation to achieve the common goals and national aspirations of both countries.
The Chairman of the BCCI emphasized the importance of opening wider horizons for investment and raising trade exchange so that the Republic of Sudan would be the food basket of the Arab world due to its elements and food and animal wealth, because of its great impact in promoting joint economic and investment work between the two sides in various fields, especially in the direction towards providing the market needs of food commodities and agricultural products, calling for more cooperation and joint coordination between the commercial, industrial and investment sectors in both countries, which will reflect positively on the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
On the other hand, Nass welcomed everything that would push towards the development of the Bahraini-Malaysian economic relations, especially the steps aimed at developing cooperation relations between business owners, institutions and companies in both countries, confirming the importance of creating the appropriate atmosphere for communication between business owners and opening new horizons for the trade, business and investment sectors in the two friendly countries, and encouraging the establishment of joint companies and projects between the business sectors.
