Abdullah Al Mazrui: An Effective Role for the Union of Arab Chambers in the Global Economic System

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Emirates and President of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui, expressed his pride in the important and great role played by the Union of Arab Chambers in assembling the Arab private sector bodies to enhance cooperation among them and coordinate efforts for regional cooperation and the development of the Arab business sector globally.

Al Mazrui pointed out that the Union of Arab Chambers will act as a body representing the Arab private sector within a clear vision and will develop strategies and ideas that will be presented to members, especially with regard to easing restrictions facing inter-Arab trade.

He added: "The coming period will be full of activity and vitality, as we will activate the role of the Union of Arab Chambers and its contributions to the global economy, and we will have constructive dialogues with the various member Arab Chambers of Commerce on how to take advantage of the current challenges and opportunities in enhancing the competitiveness of chambers of commerce and their global contribution."

Al Mazrui acclaimed the level of cooperation, coordination and communication between the Emirates Chambers and the UAC, which were keen to participate in all its events and activities, the most recent of which was hosting the 131st session of the Union Council, which was held in Dubai last June.
