Sameer Nass Commences his Post as Chairman of FGCCC

Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Abdullah Nass, started his duties as chairman of the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (FGCCC) in its 21st session, which runs until February 10 (2022), to succeed the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, Mohammed bin Thani Al Rumaithi.

In this context, Mr. Nass emphasized that "the requirements of the current and future stage require the FGCCC to start redoubling the efforts to advance with the march of the union that was launched in the early 1980s after the federation was formally established in late 1979, in order to enhance the role of this union in harmony with the hopes placed on the Gulf chambers of leaders, peoples and the private sector in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council."

The new FGCCC chairman pointed out that "the Federation of Gulf Chambers has a busy work program that pours in the axis of joint Gulf economic work and closer ties of Gulf economic cooperation," explaining that "there are projects that deserve to be carefully tackled because they are aimed at achieving that goal, among of which deepening the economic integration and pushing joint economic action to new horizons to reach the desired goal of integration.
