The head of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Senator Nael Al-Kabariti, called for "making every effort to help the Palestinian economy and rid it of the domination of the Israeli occupation authorities on its joints."
Al-Kabariti pointed out during his participation in the Palestinian-Arab business meetings in Amman, that "resolving the Palestinian issue is a higher Jordanian national interest, and on this basis we reject any talk, deal or bargain on the rights of the Palestinian people by establishing an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
He said: "The commercial sector in Jordan stands with all its energies and harnesses all its available potentials to serve the Palestinian economy, and enable the people there to build an economy capable of facing the economy of the occupying authorities. To this end, the Chambers of Commerce stand a unified and clear position and are in constant communication and coordination with their counterparts in the Federation of Palestinian Chambers in order to develop relations and integration between the two economies."
Al-Kabariti stressed "the need to start first to disassociate the Palestinian economy from the economy of the occupying authorities and return it to its Arab and Islamic surroundings by helping to open markets to the Palestinian products and providing all facilities to enable them to access foreign markets."
