Jordan Chamber of Commerce Chairman Senator Nael Al-Kabariti and his accompanying delegation discussed with Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani and members of the chamber on ways to boost the economic relations between the two countries.

Al-Kabariti stressed that "the economy will remain an important link between countries despite the political differences," pointing out that "Jordan and Qatar broke the impasse imposed by the policy rules that limit the convergence of the private sector in both countries," and that "the private sector in both countries seek to create an integrated system to serve the interests of the economy of the two brotherly countries."

He also pointed out that "there is a Jordanian desire to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, in addition to increasing the value of investment, and in this regard, the next stage requires building real partnerships between Qatari and Jordanian businessmen in light of the support of the concerned authorities in both countries."

Senator Al-Kabariti praised the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to provide job opportunities for Jordanians and investment packages, pointing out that these initiatives reflect the Arab stances adopted by the State of Qatar with its brothers.
