Senator Nael Raja Al-Kabariti, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, discussed with the Economic Advisor at the British Embassy in Amman, Dr. Wayne Willems, ways of cooperation between the two countries on many economic issues of common concern.
Al-Kabariti pointed out that "the Jordanian-British relations are historic and distinct, and the future of these relations must be viewed with optimism and the need to achieve the maximum objectives of economic and trade cooperation," he added, "Jordan has great opportunities to attract more British investments, despite the harsh conditions in the Jordanian economy but Jordan and thanks to the security and stability it enjoys, is still the homeland of business, investment and trade and a gateway to the countries of the region, especially Iraq," calling for "working together to take advantage of this great economic opportunity available in the region, as well as the investment projects offered in the Kingdom strategic sectors, including the renewable energy, Information Technology, Tourism and Medical Tourism, Health, Logistics Transport and Ports”.
